A VERY SPECIAL PRESENT
The novel I loved very much indeed is "Cider with Rose" by Edna O'Brian. It's a novel dealing with folk festivals (in Spanish called "romerías"). The plot dealls with an irish young girl in love with a teng years older than her Rose's parents were very worried about this fact, because of the young boy engaged with her. He is a married man
On folk festivals day Rose was looking at him while he was drinking some sider together with his friends. Rose felt, as ever, depply in love and she talk her friends that she was going to chat to her aunty-mami.
Later on, her lover left his friends and went to meet her. When he arrived she was getting nervous because a couple of old women were looking and talking about them.
The story finishes badly. Rose's lovers wife knew the whole story and goes to court. Rose goes into a monastery and she becames a monk. A monk but in love and nearly ever drunk.
a book I enjoyed very much indeed is harry potter and the Philosopher's Stone. It tells the story of Harry Potter, a boy who is eleven years old. Harry is not an ordinary boy, of course: he has magical powers, so he goes to a special school-Hogwarts School. There, his friends are Herminione (a girl) and Ron (a boy) and the three have lots of extremely excitieng adventurs.
I like the book because it is completely different. It made me feel happy and frightened (sometimes at the same time). As soon as i finished it I started to read the next book in the series-Harry Potters and the chamber of secrets- Which is even better in my view.
